This doesn’t necessarily mean safe in the “physical safety” sense, but more in the “emotional safety” sense. It can be scary to take risks and to worry that you will be judged and even punished for failure. Creating a space that is tolerant and even understand the upside of failure is what I mean by “safe” in this context. Does that make sense?
