I think many, many people feel imposter syndrome, though research shows it is particularly true for women and people of color. If you are not the dominant group in a given industry or meeting, you may be playing a narrative in your head that you don’t belong there. This is a natural result of humans’ tendency to look for patterns. And if you don’t fit the pattern, you may feel you don’t belong. But research shows that different points of view, life experiences, and learning styles are a boon to creative collaboration. So we may be different, but we should celebrate it!
